ABCASolutions

What it costs

Free. Including the part where you ignore us.

Most cost reviews are free up to the point where they become useful. This one is free at every stage, including the version where the report says stay where you are.

The terms

Four things that are true of every audit.

There is no tier above this one and no version of it you have to pay for.

  • The audit is free

You are never invoiced by ABCA, at any stage. There is no consultation fee, no report fee and no success fee payable by you.

  • Nothing is conditional on switching

You get the same report whether you act on every line, one line or none of them. Nothing expires and nothing is withheld.

  • The report is yours to keep

Take it to your accountant, your bank or another broker. It is a working document, not a sales artefact you have to give back.

  • We are paid by suppliers, not by you

Like every broker in this market, we receive a commission from a supplier if you choose to move to them. That is how the audit stays free.

What it costs

Nothing. And nothing changes if you stay put.

There is no fee at any stage, no obligation attached to the report and no clock running on it. Suppliers pay us if you decide to move — which is how a free audit stays free, and why we would rather tell you to do nothing than move you for the sake of it.

To be specific

What you are never charged for.

Written out in full, because “free consultation” usually is not.

  • A fee to review your bills
  • A fee to produce the report
  • A fee if you act on it
  • A fee if you act on none of it
  • A retainer, subscription or minimum term
  • A charge for the renewal reminders

The obvious question

So how does ABCA make money?

Suppliers pay us when you move

Every broker in this market — energy, card processing, telecoms — is paid a commission by the supplier a client moves to. We work the same way. If you take a recommendation and switch, the supplier pays us. If you stay where you are, nobody pays us and you still keep the report.

Which is why we write the “do nothing” lines

A meaningful share of the lines we audit come back as already competitive. Those earn us nothing and we write them anyway — partly because it is true, and partly because a report that recommends switching everything is not an audit, it is a pitch.

The last step is yours

Send three bills and find out.

Five minutes at your end. Nothing chargeable, nothing that auto-renews, and no one calls you unless you ask them to.
